Mr. Mahmood Ahmed Khan is a distinguished financial expert with over three decades of experience in the banking sector. A graduate of the University of Karachi, he further advanced his academic pursuits by earning an MBA in Finance from the United States of America. Professionally, he serves as Director of Star Marketing, one of Pakistan’s most trusted and leading real estate organizations and as Managing Director of Sun Builders. Alongside his professional excellence, he has rendered remarkable services in the promotion of arts, culture, and literature in Karachi and beyond.
As one of the founding members of Sakinan-e-Shehar-e-Quaid, established in 1990, Mr. Khan has played a pivotal role in shaping one of the most vibrant literary platforms in the city. He currently serves as the Chief Organizer (Muntazim-e-Aala) of its internationally recognized Aalmi Mushaira. Under his stewardship, these global literary gatherings have attracted renowned poets, scholars, and intellectuals from across the world, fostering cultural exchange and projecting a positive and progressive image of Pakistan internationally through electronic, print, and social media.
Mr. Mahmood Ahmed Khan is also the Founder President of the VIP Club, an important initiative dedicated to advancing cultural and literary activities. His enduring association with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, where he has served as Vice President (2008–2010) and Treasurer (2011–2013), reflects his dynamic leadership and unwavering commitment to institutional development in the arts sector.
